Wow, it does look cool. It probably has solar panels that can store the excess energy in batteries, and of course, I'm sure it has grid power source too.
I'm thinking SpaceX satelites will be beaming power from space to the panels and charging the car.
It is Elon we are talking about after all.
Also, they act as satellite dishes and are connected to SETI and help crunch data in search of radio communications from extrasolar intelligent life.
will they really surprise with new technology? Or do they just bring together the skills of SolarCity and Tesla?
And furthermore: will it be possible to charge non-Tesla-cars?
SolarCity is offering home energy storage using Tesla battery technology. Sounds like all the pieces are there, just waiting to be assembled.
Don't get your hopes up on charging other cars, but they could. Just not supercharging.
They would be the first mover within the EV-Infrastructure...
everybody could fill up there!
Maybe they announce new warp drive for Model S with charging stations as refuel points, charging infrastructure extended to Glieste 581g (http://www.space.com/17628-warp-drive-possible-interstellar-spaceflight....).
Elon Musk: "I will put man into new solar system by end of the year".
