Tm has this informaton, but I think it would be interesting to develop a snap shot of where Model S' are being sold and will call "home". I'll start:
Sig # 442
Boca Raton, FL
P#3 (EU) Berlin, Germany
Long Island, New York
San Jose, CA
Signature #249 - Mine

Signature #545 - Father

(I'm proud to be one of the first UN-Official Tesla families; my wife will have a Model X in 2013).
I have to ask: does anyone else have have 3 or more Tesla's in their immediate family?
By the way, I have had the license plate TESLA 1 since 2007. It is currently on my prius till the Model S arrives. I will be at the new Oakbrook showroom for the Grand Opening Preview Thursday. Any one else?
P3916. Oak Park, CA
Southern California near Thousand Oaks
S#52 (EU) SON, Norway
P3594 Chicago, I will be at the Oakbrook Grand Opening when the doors open. Do not have a license plate picked out.
P3280 - Rochester, NY
P#3871 - Kansas City
Oops! P3283 actually - rounding error!
@GoTeslaChicago - When and how (email/snail mail) did you get your Thursday preview invitation? I haven't received anything yet, so I was just planning on going on Saturday or Sunday.
P5129 Los Gatos, Ca
#2884, Louisville, Ky
When I called the chgo office after making my reservation on line, they told me about the event and said I just missed the email announcing it. Call them about it. You should come. It is from 6:30 to 9:00 pm this Thursday 11/10/11. A model s beta will be there.
S580 - Cupertino, CA
Take GTC's advice. I had a similar situation with the Bellevue opening. Tesla rep cleared it up, got my name on the list with no fuss.
Price and cash dependent.
South Bend, Indiana
I will be working Thursday to try to pay for my Model S and thus not make it to Oakbrook until Saturday.
